Why the Book
I discovered after years of flying General Aviation aircraft, and advanced military jets, that the average General Aviation pilot has not been exposed to some of the best and targeted training and knowledge that our military aviators receive.
This book is an attempt to bridge that gap between the GA pilot and the military pilot, specifically when it comes to engine loss, flameouts, glides, and engine emergencies.
Engine Out Survival Tactics is a humble approach to some basic military training concepts. If you think us F-16 pilots just "pull the handle" when faced with an engine emergency...you couldn't be more wrong.
